Wood chipper - reliability

The bachelor thesis deals with different types of wood chippers and their reliability. It includes individual machines from different manufacturers and their comparison. Based on the division of wood chippers, I designed my own 3D model, according to which a fully functional machine was made and thus the mentioned reliability of the model was verified. Part of the work is drawing documentation.

Design of mobile chipper

The Bachelor thesis deals with the structural design of a mobile chipper that uses mass-produced compact tractors VARI as its energy sources. This Bachelor thesis is divided into four main chapters: a description of the basic technology used for processing natural materials that is characteristic of this type of equipment, the current state of structural details of compact tractors VARI and their equipment, a detailed study of technical aspects of the compact tractor providing the power, various drafts of possible solutions with a presentation of a functional home-made prototype, and a detailed description of the final version of the design. The thesis also includes an approximate calculation of the maximal possible diameter of the processed material and a technical drawing.

This bachelor thesis includes large research of garden shredders and wood chippers of garden waste including manufacturers and prices and there are evaluated crushed materials according to available information. A part of this bachelor thesis is also a construction of the own shredder, with basic calculations, drawing documentation and a 3D model.

The trailer for a chipper

The goal of this thesis is structural design of the trailer for a LASKI chippers and to create a construction drawings. Important part is information about legislation rules, which this trailer has to fulfill. The aim of this work is to do a dynamic simulation using multi-body system. Results of this simulation are used for a stress analysis witch using a fine element method.

Wood chipper - efficiency

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to design the wood chipper. In the theoretical part I am dealing with the mechanical properties of the processed material. Furthermore, I am mentioning individual types of chippers and crushers. In the practical part, the basic parameters of the machine are deduced from the research. These values are entering into the calculations needed to construct the components that the chipper is assembled with. The thesis includes production drawings and a 3D model made in Autodesk Inventor 2019.

Návrh konstrukčního řešení štěpkovače

The goal of this bachelor thesis is design a structural solution of woodchipper, that is used for processing branches and other wood waste. The woodchipper is designed to be powered by tractor's power shaft. At the beginning of the thesis is described the functionality of woodchippers, which is followed by differentiation and description of individual types of woodchippers. In the next part of the thesis, the cutting theory and the geometry of the blade are described. Also the demands for the chipping are determined. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to the necessary calculations and also the 3D model of the woodchipper is available. The work is accompanied by drawing documentation.

Stroje a strojní linky pro zpracovní dřevního odpadu - štěpkovače

Thesis describes machines and mechanical lines for the processing of wood waste - chippers. The teoretical part reports about chippers and their ulitization. Thesis introduces basic division of chippers with presentation of basic types of crushing devices. Czech and foreign producers are presented with their produced types of machines. At the end of the teoretical part are described individually machines and machinal lines with complete work process. This process is used for felling and following disposal of wood mass in wood lands and in cities. In the practical part thesis compares desinged machine sets in field laboratory mensuration. Measured values were compared. Costs and economical aspects of the compared machine lines are quantified in the end.

This thesis contains basic division of machines for disintegration of plant biomasses. Listed are individual chipping systems, their advantages, disadvantages and suitability for use. Field-laboratory measurement deals with the measuring the quality of the resulting chips from domestic DIY chipper according to a diameter of the split material and depending on the speed of the PTO shaft or the chipping device. The third part of the thesis is the technical-economic comparison of two wood chippers from Czech manufacturers.
